Endal was a canine partner dog and after reading his story I decided to find out more about the charity. I was really impressed by the work and training they do and I now sponsor a puppy myself (a chocolate brown Labrador called Nugget). I persuaded the rest of the office team Canine Partners would be a fantastic charity to support this year and as we are an office full of dog lovers they agreed !!!! Canine partner dogs make a huge difference to the quality of life for disabled people. Helping them lead more independent lives, accessing their community and helping people work, shop and socialise. All this wrapped up in a friendly, waggy tailed companion! Endal sadly died at the age of 12 on 13th March 2009 in the arms of his owner Allan and surrounded by the rest of the Parton family. We would really like the Salisbury branch to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity. We have set a target of raising £500 this will buy a puppy to train as a canine partner dog. What an achievement that would be to know we have helped a disabled person become independent. For more information please visit www.caninepartners.co.uk I could not recommend enough the Book “Endal” by Allan and Sandra Parton. Thank you for your support I hope we can work together to reach our target.
