Home Care Support Worker

About the role;

• We are currently recruiting for individuals who have a keen interest in learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
• We are looking for individuals who are willing to go the extra mile and support our clients on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis in their own homes.
• We are looking to build a team of workers who can be part of a number of packages that we have in the area and for future packages that we are looking to take on.
• We need workers who are flexible with the hours they can work.
• Workers will need to complete the full Nurseplus training and will also be expected to take part in additional training such as positive behaviour support, epilepsy and any training deemed necessary for each individual client
• Pay rates will start at £9.50 per hour for weekdays

Requirements;

• Experience working with individuals who have learning disabilities or challenging behaviour

• 6 months care experience in a care setting   

• Willingness to attend all training deemed necessary for the role, failure to complete all training will mean they cannot work on these type of packages

• Flexibility with the hours being worked
• A driving licence would be beneficial, but not essential.
