Regional Business Manager - Nursing

Location – Covering South East region (travel required)

Contract Type – Permanent

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Regional Business Manager to grow and develop the nursing business consistently across the South East region and nationally. The successful candidate will play a vital role in increasing awareness of Nurseplus within the private care sector. To develop and maintain long-term value for Nurseplus from new and existing clients, markets and relationships whilst continuously identifying new areas for development within the regions. To assist the branches in ensuring consistency and best practice across operations, compliance and recruitment and to drive high levels of engagement amongst employees and workers. To work to set KPIs based on growth and compliance.

The Role

 

  • Identify new sales opportunities and business leads
  • Assist branches in increasing their offering to existing clients
  • Increase branch utilisation based on their current active Nurse database and gain an understanding of regional difficulties and assist in overcoming these
  • Maintain regular client contact and build relationships with relevant departments / individuals
  • Attend Operations / Regional meetings to present to Branch Managers / Area Managers to encourage best practice and to share ideas
  • To target and drive branches on set KPIs through coaching and incentives
  • Alongside the Head of Nursing BD, identify underperforming branches and develop a plan to address and manage issues effectively

 

 

  • To implement new processes and procedures and to ensure understanding of these new processes
  • Train and develop Branch Manager in their understanding of recruiting and selling a Nurse
  • Train and develop branch personnel in Nurse recruitment, attraction, engagement, retention and how to successfully manage client relationships
  • To keep regular contact with branches to ensure they are utilising the support available to them as and when required

 

The successful candidate

 

  • A good understanding of nursing recruitment and compliance requirements
  • Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
  • Experience in team management
  • Confident in leading by example to achieve results
  • Flexibility to work across a wide geographical area (South East and South West)
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to negotiate and close sales
  • Previous track record of working within nursing recruitment

 

 

  • Track record of identifying, gaining and maintaining nursing clients
  • Experience of implementing working processes to support business development
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals within nursing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Current UK driving licence
