Nurseplus are looking for experienced and reliable Senior Healthcare Assistants to provide person-centred care to residents within local Residential and Nursing homes in Glasgow and surrounding areas.
You would be playing a pivotal role in providing a high quality of care for residents which would include personal care and promoting meaningful activities to assist residents to lead a more fulfilled life.
Pay rates from £10 up to £14 per hour, weekly pay.
Minimum requirements to work with Nurseplus as a Senior Healthcare Assistant (SHCA):
- At least 5 years Care experience
- SVQ 2 qualified minimum
- Experience in leading a team of care staff to ensure residents care needs are met to a high standard as per individual person-centred care plans
- Medication administration qualification
- You must have the right to work within the UK
- You must have a good standard of English and be able to communicate effectively
- A warm, compassionate and personable nature with the ability to work with patience, tact and understanding.
- An awareness of Adult Support and Protection procedures
- Dementia Awareness
