The main duties of a Senior Homecare Co-ordinator

As a Senior Homecare Coordinator, with the support of the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager, you will manage a team of Homecare Coordinators. The role will be responsible for monitoring the delivery of a high-quality care service and be responsible for the deployment and management of our Care Workers throughout Dover and Folkestone. A big part of the role is the line management of our Homecare Coordinators to ensure that they are effectively managing their portfolio, carer availability and Service User requirements. The role will be based in our Dover office; however, there will be a requirement to travel to Folkestone on a flexible but regular basis in order to oversee our satellite office there.

On a day to day basis, the role will be responsible for:

  • Managing the day to day running of the office team with the support of the Manager and Deputy.
  • Manage Care Worker, Service User and Healthcare professional queries, actioning these effectively and efficiently.
  • Assist with the management of new care packages.
  • Oversee compliance in line with CQC regulations.
  • Drive recruitment of Care Workers forward throughout both Dover and Folkestone.

What we are looking for in the successful candidate:

The working environment is fast-paced and requires an individual, who is driven, motivated, has strong customer service skills and can influence others. You will have experience in people management, customer care, handling complaints and problem solving and be able to demonstrate attention to detail and strong organisational skills. In addition, you will need to have a full UK driving licence, be computer literate and be willing to cover care calls if required.
