Nurseplus is looking for Team Leaders for work in Nursing and Residential Homes in Exeter.

Job Purpose
To provide supervision/management to a team of care assistants and housekeeping services staff. To provide care and support to service users with differing levels of need and dependency.

The role requires that the team leader ensures that the team of care assistants and housekeeping services staff on shift delivers care in a sensitive and person centred way, placing the Service User at the forefront of the care given.

The care and support will be varied, ranging from moderate forms of support through to complex and detailed care pathways, requiring well developed skills. Team Leaders are expected to ensure that the care assistant team and housekeeping services staff work in a unified and flexible manner to deliver excellent quality services.

Post holders will be expected to participate fully in compiling and reviewing of service user care plans, moving and handling plans, risk assessments and other related documentation involved in the service users care needs.

Applicants must have experience as a Healthcare Assistant/Team Leader in a similar setting

A full DBS disclosure will be required at the time of registration
