Training with Nurseplus

Nurseplus in-house Training

Our in-house training programme has come a long way since Nurseplus was established in 2005. We are proud to provide quality training to all of our staff, including our newest workers and those who have been with Nurseplus through the years.

The advantage of having an in-house training team means that we know exactly what training is being delivered, when and how and we can continuously develop and improve where necessary. All of our trainers bring their own experience and knowledge of care work and the industry to enable the greatest level of support and encouragement to our workforce; allowing them to work in specialised environments with ease and the right skills set.

Further your career

We feel that it is important to promote individual development and offer our workers access to qualification options. Health and social care employ more people in the UK than the NHS and we need to encourage and nurture those who have decided to work in this sector.

All of our workers are given the opportunity for further development and progression, completed around working hours where possible.

For those who need to fit their learning around work and family commitments, we are pleased to offer distance learning for a wide range of qualifications.
How do I find out more about developing my career with Nurseplus?

All training is in line with the new Care Certificate.

The Care Certificate was officially launched in March 2015, with the aim of equipping health and social care support workers with the knowledge and skills they need to provide safe, with compassionate, safe and high-quality care and support. The Care Certificate is an identified set of standards that health and social care workers must adhere to.

At Nurseplus, we are required to meet its standards before new employees can work with clients. The Care certificate replaces the Common Induction Standards (CIS) and the National Minimum Training Standards (NMTS).
