What are the benefits of becoming a support worker?

Being a support worker can be one of the most fulfilling and beneficial jobs you could do - especially when you make such a difference to an individual's life.

Stevie and Laraine from our Hastings branch recently accompanied one of their local service users, Charlie, his senior support worker Tracey and support worker Zee, to the local fair.

Charlie has 24-hour care provided by Nurseplus and has come a long way in the time that the team have been supporting him. They are currently working towards taking him on a 2-night weekend trip away, so all of these little trips out help towards the overall goal of giving Charlie the best opportunities and experiences - something every individual should be entitled to.

Charlie commented saying "he had a great time at the fair and liked being taken out by everyone for the evening".

Bringing this kind of positivity to a service user's life is something that we strive to do at Nurseplus, and Charlie is proof that building strong reltationships can have excellent outcomes.

Senior branch consultant Laraine added "It was a pleasure to take Charlie out and it is a good way for him to socialise. Everyone had a good time that evening and we look forward to the next event with him".

If you'd like to join our team and help an individial like Charlie, why not find out more about the support worker jobs available in your area, today.

Well done to the team and to Charlie on what sounds like a brilliant experience. :-)
