Children's Residential Services Training

Children's Early Years Training

Here we’d like to explain how our mandatory training prepares every member of Nurseplus Children’s Services staff, to become invaluable pillars of support for your team.

Children's Services Staff

Find Qualified Nursery Nurses and Assistants

All of our qualified Early Years staff hold a nationally accredited qualification (NVQ/QCF/RQF) a Level 2 or above and our Nursery Nurses and Assistants are trained to create nurturing environments where young children can thrive. Through our Early Years Foundation Stage training, each carer will gain a deep understanding of child development, safeguarding, and engaging educational activities. Our comprehensive and industry-leading training equips nursery agency staff to provide high-quality children’s care and support, which ensures each child’s physical, emotional, and intellectual needs are met.

Support for Children's Residential Care Homes

Any Nurseplus staff working in children's residential care homes are prepared to handle the unique challenges of these environments. Our training includes modules on trauma-informed care, behavioural management, and therapeutic support, and we also offer the opportunity for residential childcare staff to undertake their Children, Young People, and Families Practitioner (Residential) – Level 4 Apprenticeship. By ensuring that our carers can access further education and develop their carers we can help provide safer and more supportive environments for children with complex needs. We work to prioritise the development of strong, trusting relationships between staff, your team, and the children in your care, whilst always fostering a sense of stability and security.

Gain Access to Trained SEN Staff

We understand that supporting children with special educational needs requires specialised knowledge and skills. We prepare our carers to support your SEN Staff through rigorous training which covers areas such as autism awareness, sensory integration, and communication strategies. This allows our staff to have the skills and confidence to deliver tailored support and care that promotes inclusion and encourages each child to reach their full potential. All Nurseplus carers are proficient in helping to support adaptive learning environments and catering to the diverse needs of young people with SEN.

Local Staff Providing Local Community Care

At Nurseplus, we pride ourselves on our network of local branches across the UK, which allows us to source carers from within your community. This local focus ensures that children’s services across our network have access to local carers with a deep understanding of the communities they work and live in. Utilising our experience working with local care services for nearly 20 years we can navigate the specific needs and challenges children’s services face, connecting them with quality care staff and meeting these needs with professionalism and care.
