What are the main responsibilities of a 1-1 Care Assistant?

Nurseplus are looking for a Female Care Assistant for a 1-1 care role. You will be required to support personal care, meal preparations and have some awareness of Mental Health matters.

• Assisting the client with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing and bathing.

• Perform light domestic duties, such as changing bed linen and vacuuming.

• Accompany client to medical appointments, shopping trips etc.

• Administration of client’s medication.

• Assisting customers with meal preparation/fluids.

Minimum requirements to work with Nurseplus as a 1-1 Care Assistant:

• You must have the right to work within the UK

• You must have a good standard of English and be able to communicate effectively

• A warm, compassionate and personable nature with the ability to work with patience, tact and understanding.

• Great attention to detail and the ability to work steadily under pressure.
