Nurseplus are seeking to recruit a flexible, qualified and experienced Nursery Room Lead in South London on a temporary to permanent basis.

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will have responsibility for the day to day running of the room. You will be required to provide a safe and stimulating learning environment for children whilst imparting your knowledge and supervising the wider team.

Nursery Room Lead responsibilities would involve:

• Leading the team to ensure high quality care is delivered at all times

• Making sure that children are safe, happy and stimulated

• Communicating information to children using play

• Encouraging children’s development

• Creating a child friendly environment

• Maintaining toys and play equipment

• Keeping records

Qualifications accepted to work with Nurseplus as a Nursery Assistant:

• NVQ Level 3 Childcare and Education

• NVQ Level 3 Early years care and education

• CACHE Level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education

• Foundation/honours degree in Early Childhood Studies

• A Full UK Driving License or flexibility to travel
