Job Duties:
- Providing high-quality care and education to children in the nursery
- Planning and implementing activities to meet the individual needs of children
- Monitoring and recording children's development and progress
- Working in partnership with parents and carers
- Maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for children
Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) or equivalent
- Valid Paediatric First Aid qualification
- Enhanced DBS check
Education:
Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) or equivalent
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience working in a nursery setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- SEN training
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
Working Conditions:
- Work in a nursery setting
- May involve lifting and carrying children
- Exposure to various childhood illnesses
