Based in Gloucester
Salary: £25,000 per annum
On-Call Phone (Rota Basis)

Nurseplus is looking for a motivated and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our Gloucester branch. This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career within a fast-paced healthcare recruitment environment.

Previous recruitment experience is desirable but not essential — we are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong communication skills, and the drive to succeed. Full training will be provided.


The Role

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing healthcare professionals while building strong relationships with clients across the region.

This is a varied role combining recruitment, sales, compliance, and customer service. You will also participate in an on-call rota, managing out-of-hours queries and bookings via a dedicated phone.


Key Responsibilities

  • Attract, screen, and interview candidates for healthcare roles

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and care staff

  • Fill bookings quickly and efficiently to meet client needs

  • Ensure all candidates meet compliance and safeguarding standards

  • Maintain accurate records using recruitment systems

  • Contribute to branch targets and growth

  • Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota


About You

  • Recruitment experience desirable but not essential

  • Sales, customer service, or administration experience beneficial

  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills

  • Organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Resilient, proactive, and target-driven

  • Full UK driving licence preferred
