Our recruitment success for 2017

Skills for Care recently reported that on any given day there can be up to 90,000 vacancies for social care jobs in England. There is high competition as health organisations compete for the same pool of individuals, and at Nurseplus we are no stranger to this ongoing challenge.

Recruitment and retention have never been a more crucial element of health and social care. More than ever we need the right people with the rights skills to deliver the high-quality care people deserve.

Our sector has faced huge challenges over the past year but we are proud to have been able to continue to expand Nurseplus and offer valuable health services and employment opportunities across the whole of England.

Our long-term business goal is to remain a high-quality recruiter, continue to address market need, adapt and develop and provide excellence to our customers and staff.

Although Nurseplus has seen good business growth, we wanted to do better. We set out to review our recruitment programme and covered key areas of service delivery such as staff engagement, effective processes, time management, collaboration with key parties, reflective practice and reporting. This programme has strengthened our service delivery and we have received positive feedback from both customers and staff.

Over the next five years, we aim to open a further 20 Branches across the UK to address customer needs and employment, as well as continuing to deliver highly targeted recruitment campaigns and further invest in resources, training and development.

Nurseplus is rapidly growing and as a result, we are always on the lookout for Managers and Consultants to join our team. Our office staff play a valuable role in the day to day running of Nurseplus, improving our service delivery and quality of care and supporting our care workers.

Our recent fresh new look is just one of the many positive changes that we have planned and our new brand message ‘Nurseplus – Better together’ is fitting for our evolving approach to the business.

Alongside our branding, we have also introduced a new website. The website showcases our new look and is aimed to be a job board focused resource, as well as providing a simpler and clearer customer journey.

We are very excited about our ambitious business objectives and the changes we are making will support the whole workforce to continue to improve the quality service we provide to our clients and partners.
