"Surpassed my expectations" A Nurse's view on flexible working solutions offered at Nurseplus

Nurseplus are dedicated to offering our staff a flexible working solution. Many of our Registered Nurses work part-time to top up their hours or alongside other personal commitments.

We are always looking for Nurses to join our dedicated teams throughout the UK, whether you are looking for 1 shift a week or more, we can help.

Hear what Jo has to say:

I joined the Nurseplus Plymouth branch in 2014 after working in numerous roles as a community nurse and care manager in domiciliary, nursing, day provision and residential settings.

I changed to agency work due to personal circumstances hoping it would give me a more flexible work-life balance. Since working with Nurseplus I have achieved this, in fact, this way of working has surpassed my hopes and expectations. I am able to take assignments when it works for me or not work when I need to take time to support my family.

I have found the team supportive and understanding of my needs, I never feel a pressure to take assignments. They are always helpful and happy and there when you need them I never feel alone or out on a limb, always part of a larger team.

Nurseplus have always supported my training and development needs, they have provided training to meet my needs and to undertake assignments in a skilled and professional way. Nurseplus have a great process of supporting identified development and mandatory training needs, I enjoy the challenge of different assignments and the joy of knowing that each provides me with the ability to practise my skills as a nurse.

I have found this period the most fulfilling and enjoyable of my career.

Thank you Nurseplus and the Plymouth team, I cannot recommend or praise them highly enough
