We were established in 2005 starting with 3 branches and we are now one of the largest providers in the UK with a branch networker of 56. We offer quality staff to cover last minute emergency cover, long term planned cover and everything between. From 30 minutes to 24/7. Whatever your need, Nurseplus have the staff and expertise to assist.

Nurseplus work with many client groups including; People with physical and sensory impairments, Older People, Children, People with mental health problems, People with learning disabilities, People with an acquired brain injury, People with a spinal injury, People with complex health needs and many more.

One of our strategic directions is to invest in the training and development of staff, providing quality training and tools, enabling Nurseplus to be at the forefront of health and social care.

Our in-house training programme has come a long way since Nurseplus was established in 2005. We are proud to provide quality training to all of our staff, including our newest workers and those who have been with Nurseplus through the years.

Training is provided by accredited trainers, all of whom have knowledge of the care industry and understand the concepts of equality, diversity and the provision of person-centred care.

The company’s successful training model ensures new entrants and existing staff are highly motivated; we use a variety of training techniques to suit individuals preferred learning styles. Outcomes are checked with the use of questionnaires and competency assessments.

Nurseplus is also an Association of Healthcare Trainers member that has agreed to abide by the AoHT Code of Ethics, ensuring all healthcare training is of the very highest standards.

Quality and Compliance

At Nurseplus we are able to sustain a quality service through a number of different measures; our monitoring and review processes support our business assurances and highlight any gaps in performance.

Our effective booking system is fundamental to providing our services on time, for the correct duration and to the specified quality.

Our Area Managers and Operations Director are responsible for regular performance appraisals with branch managers

Robust audit reports from each branch (carried out by our internal audit team), Care staff supervisions and spot checks, all carried out every three months.

Computer software tracks and alerts when supervisions and monitoring performance are due, monitoring of workers is carried out at least every three months, with information used as part of their annual appraisal.

We are able to support our staff with their CPD certification, including obtaining funding for recognised health and social care qualifications to support their development and career aspirations.

Nurseplus is registered with the CQC (Care Quality Commission)
