We CARE about our workers so they can CARE about our clients

At Nurseplus we invest heavily in our recruitment, training and quality assurance program to ensure our support staff have the right skills and knowledge to confidently and appropriately care for our clients.

Recruitment –

People working in Care need to have a genuine interest in helping people to maintain their quality of life and independence regardless of the potential barriers they face. Our rigorous recruitment process ensures we recruit only the best staff, all of which must complete an enhanced DBS check and supply at least two references. We also carry out pre-screening and face to face interviews, ensuring that the applicants have full information about what the job entails and enabling us to understand a candidates motivation for wanting to work in the care industry and ascertain in what environment they would be best placed.

Training -

The advantage of having an in-house training team means that we know exactly what training is being delivered, when and how and we can continuously develop and improve where necessary. All of our trainers bring their own experience and knowledge of care work and the industry to enable the greatest level of support and encouragement to our workforce; allowing them to work in specialised environments with ease and the right skills set.

All of our training is in line with the care certificate; officially launched in March 2015, with the aim of equipping health and social care support workers with the knowledge and skills they need to provide safe, compassionate, quality care and support.
